Good Narrators.

The voices were charming.  I particularly liked the Italian fellow.  He was like a friend leading us through his hometown.

Along the way I wished there was more historic details.  But then when finished I appreciated the fact that too much info would have bogged down the overall experience.  The tour kept me moving along to more and more fascinating locations.

I really enjoyed the SelfTour GPS guide app of the historic area of Philadelphia.  I was very impressed with how easy it was to follow along.  And I like the way various founding fathers were brought to life through hearing them speak their famous lines.  Wonderfully entertaining and a great learning experience.

Great Winery Choices

I was surprised at the great choices of wineries included on the tour.  It was a nice combination of old such as Buena Vista, spectacular such the Amorosa Castle, and big sellers including BV and Beranger Bros.  The tour covered the entire area so we got to experience champagnes, white and reds.  A great way to get the full scope of California wines

I took this tour on a very hot, humid day and thought I was going to die.  Thank God for the snack vendor outside the Air & Space Museum.  Since I found the tour very worthwhile, my recommendation to others is to break it up over two days.
